Welcome ... The Wedemeyer Ranch is a family business owned and operated by Wendy and Gary Wedemeyer. Being family based, the Ranch is run with the help of daughters Mandy, Katie and son-in–law Pedro Lizama.

The Wedemeyers have been raising and training horses for over 20 years, always with the goal in mind of producing truly versatile American Quarter Horses.

The Wedemeyer family successfully compete on horses that are raised and trained from their highly developed and specialized program, winning on a National level in Team Penning, Working Cow Horse classes and in AQHA’s newest class - Ranch Versatility.

The basis of the Wedemeyer program is to raise their colts in a natural environment- where they learn to cross water with their mothers and they roam freely with cattle. As with any good business, they are always striving to improve bloodlines and continue to produce the type of horse that posseses eye appeal, good size, bone, and a great mind - which is key.
